Shandra Woods Story
Shandra Woods is an author, minister, and founder of Beyond Life’s Ashes Ministry, a space dedicated to helping women heal, rebuild, and rise after trauma. Answering God’s call at an early age, Shandra trusted that even through life’s hardest moments, He was leading her toward a beautiful and purposeful path.
A graduate of the University of Memphis, Shandra holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting with a minor in Dance. Currently working on her master's in Christian ministry at Abilene Christian University, where she plans to use this degree in teaching Biblical Studies and Spiritual Formation with an emphasis on Trauma, as an Adjunct Professor. She believes healing is both spiritual and embodied—that movement and God, work together to restore what trauma tries to steal. This belief shapes her ministry, her message, and her everyday life.
Licensed in ministry since 2019 and ordained as an Elder in 2024Shandra has shared her powerful testimony at women’s retreats and with the Pretty Serious Table Talk Ministry, encouraging women to pursue wholeness and freedom.
She is currently releasing her first book, Go! Get Your Healing, in blog format—making her message accessible, honest, and available to anyone ready to begin their healing journey.
